Joe Pattis Seafood Market now has installed sanitizing ultraviolet lighting in all of our HVAC areas and air handlers in our shop, our freezers, through our market workplaces.
In an abundance of caution, all of our employees have had reinforced training on updated protocols set by state & health departments that cover food prep, packaging and distribution procedures.
Fortunately according to the latest information from the CDC (Center for Disease Control) - 'Food-borne exposure to this virus is not known to be a route of transmission.'
Our front line Team members work gloved and are properly trained in their use and disposal.
Several weeks ago we installed hand sanitizers stations all throughout the shop for you, our customers, and all team workspaces.
A Message from our Shipping Team & FedEx
Joe Patti's Seafood is filling orders as they arrive but we are also monitoring FedEx our shipping partners closely. There will be some delays due to the current restrictions. Please contact FedEx for final recieving if there's a delay with your shipment. We only ship if FedEx issues us a valid shipping label & FedEx handles the package from there.
Currently, FedEx is adhering to all regulations and guidelines from government authorities related to containment of COVID-19. As an essential service, FedEx continues to operate to and from impacted areas as local conditions and restrictions allow, and they are taking all recommended precautions in terms of team member and customer health and safety.
